01.30.12 - Dollhouse

While Maddie and Nate are away, Tommy likes to crawl into Maddie's room and play dollhouse.

01.28.12 - Playing house

The kids have taken to playing house under the dining room table.

01.27.12 - Window washer

Tommy was watching Maddie and Nate spend a few minutes outside tonight. Once he realized he wasn't going out, too, he decided to entertain himself (and us) by making faces on the patio door.

01.26.12 - Crash and burn

Tommy skipped his afternoon nap because he was out spending some one-on-one time with his mommy. As soon as she got him in the house, he was was out. Didn't even have to take his coat off.

01.25.12 - All the pretty colors

Tommy really liked playing with the different toys that Coco, our Parents as Teachers educator, brought with her tonight, especially the different color hankies that he pulled out of a tissue box.

01.24.12 - Library night

It's been awhile since we've been to the library. Tommy spent a good amount of time trying to reach the books that were just for kids his age.

01.22.12 - Monkeys!

It's been such a mild winter that we just had to get out to the zoo today. The kids were excited to go and we were excited to get them out of the house! Tommy has grown so much since our last trip that he actually noticed the different animals this time, including the monkeys.

01.21.12 - Hugs from Keiton

Brent and Tori offered to watch the kids so that Angie and I could have a date night. So we loaded them up and drove them over to their house after dinner. Keiton was especially happy to see his cousins.

Angie was finally able to capture Tommy doing his fish face! Turns out, applesauce will do the trick.

01.19.12 - Cuban steak

Angie made the most delicious Cuban steak for dinner tonight. Maddie and Nate weren't interested but Tommy and I chowed down.

01.18.12 - Brandi

Brandi stopped by tonight to return a dish we took her dinner in a few weeks ago. She recently had a new baby boy and had to come to our place to see that having one isn't so hard!

01.17.12 - #facepalm

Tommy was making some great fishy faces at dinner tonight. Of course, by the time I got to the camera and back to the table, he was done. #facepalm

01.16.12 - Cutest BW duckie

Not sure if Tommy's as cute as Maddie was when she modeled the duckie towel so I turned it black and white. He's definitely the cutest black and white duckie!

01.15.12 - Undercovered

Went in to get a photo of Tommy before midnight to make sure the kids were covered up before turning in and found Tommy completely uncovered. Good thing I still needed a photo I checked on him.

01.14.12 - You gonna eat that?

Maddie and Nate made sure Tommy didn't go without at snack time today. Trust us when we say Tommy doesn't go without!

01.13.12 - Fightin' over Grandma

Grandma Shepherd came over tonight to put the kids to bed so that Mommy and I could have a date night (grocery shopping) and they immediately flocked to her. Of course, Tommy got her full attention while the other two climbed over each other to get to her.

01.12.12 - Cutie-Patootie (No) Pants

Even in the bathtub, this kid is stinkin' cute!

01.11.12 - Two-steppin'

Tommy's never worn shoes before but had to try on Nate's boots while we listened to a classic country Pandora after dinner tonight.

Yes, country. Ugh.

Now that Tommy is on the move, he likes to crawl down the hallway and play in his room.

Harley puts up with a lot. Secretly, I think she likes it.

Never mind a tray full of yummy real food and all Tommy wants to eat is a plastic hamburger bun.

01.02.12 - Channel changer

It's simply amazing all the money we (and the grandparents) have spent on toys and the most favorite things to play with are boxes, wipes, junk mail and tv remotes.
