04.21.12 - Vroom!

Tommy likes to push Hot Wheels around the house while saying what sounds like "vroom!" so tonight we let him take the car out for a spin. He liked the horn the most.

01.30.12 - Dollhouse

While Maddie and Nate are away, Tommy likes to crawl into Maddie's room and play dollhouse.

01.25.12 - All the pretty colors

Tommy really liked playing with the different toys that Coco, our Parents as Teachers educator, brought with her tonight, especially the different color hankies that he pulled out of a tissue box.

01.10.12 - Little boys' room

Now that Tommy is on the move, he likes to crawl down the hallway and play in his room.

01.02.12 - Channel changer

It's simply amazing all the money we (and the grandparents) have spent on toys and the most favorite things to play with are boxes, wipes, junk mail and tv remotes.

12.01.11 - Learning to play kitchen

After a rough day of not getting along so well, Angie was quite relieved when Tommy, Maddie and Nate sat down to play kitchen together, giving her a good 30 minutes to prepare dinner.

11.21.11 - Three busy bodies

Our poor Parents As Teachers parent educator must sit in her car and repeat, "I can do this, I can do this," before coming into our house for our monthly visit! Tonight was extra challenging as Angie had a prior commitment and couldn't be there. It was just me, Coco, the kids and Harley. Oy!

11.19.11 - Chores

Tommy is finally able to sit up well enough by himself to play toys and keep himself entertained long enough for Mom or I to get some chores done. Of course, that stack of towels doesn't even put a dent in the mountain of dirty laundry that's in our room!

10.04.11 - Toys make me happy

Tommy likes playing with his toys, when his brother and sister will leave them alone, that is!

09.29.11 - Play ball!

Tommy loved playing ball with Maddie tonight. I missed the best photos because I was busy putting Nate to bed.

Right now, fingers and toes are so much more exciting than new toys.

07.04.11 - Deep thoughts

Tommy contemplates the jumperoo as he sits in it this weekend for the first time. I bet he's contemplating trying to eat that baby blue elephant.

06.08.11 - Quack!

Maddie's love of ducks wasn't passed on to Nate (he loves monkeys) but we are trying to pass it on to Tommy. Every time we squeezed the duck he would smile really big. Of course he wouldn't do it once we got the camera.

04.12.11 - Snuggly Puppy

Maddie has Snuggly Bunny. Nate has Snuggly Monkey. Tommy has Snuggly Puppy! And when we gave it to him for the first time tonight, he grabbed it tightly and held it close to him. He and Snuggly Puppy are going to be great friends!
